no secret that Pennsylvania has one of the largest black bear
populations in the nation and you couldn't find a better place to
spot them than the Cook Forest Black Bear Cabins.
Bears frequently make their home in the thick mountain laurel surrounding our area and visit the nearby Wild & Scenic designated Clarion River to drink and look for |

| food.
The bear population in our state is estimated at over 10,000 bears, trailing only Alaska and Washington state in numbers. This year marked the best ever black bear hunting season in our state. This family of black bears was spotted on our property last summer. |
